What we do
Bespoke internal and external doors, bi-fold, French doors, garage door or gates. Enhance and increase the value of your home with high quality items.
Our Simple Six-Step Process
Step 1 - You Make Contact
Get in touch and we will do a site visit to take a measure to provide you with an estimate. Estimates are valid for up to 6 months.
Step 2 - On Site Measure
If you decide to proceed, we will undertake a second measure on site and provide you with our standard contract and request for deposit.
On payment of deposit, your items will be put in production.
Step 3 - Lead-in Time Confirmed
Lead in times are usually 6 to 8 weeks from receipt of deposit. The deposit is normally 30% of the manufacture cost of your items.
At busy times of year, the lead in time can increase to 8 to 10 weeks.
Step 4 - Fitting Date Confirmed
When your items are near completion, we will contact you to arrange a suitable fitting date or time for collection. In normal circumstances, we will give you a minimum of 1 week’s notice.
Step 5 - Final Payment Due
Following installation, you will be sent a final invoice for the remainder of the cost of your job. The items remain the property of F&E Joinery until we are in receipt of your full payment.
Step 6 - FENSA Registration Completed
Following receipt of payment, your item will be registered with FENSA where applicable, and you will be sent the F&E Joinery Ltd 5-year guarantee.
Custom joinery
From one door or window to providing complete replacement of items for your home, we can produce items from scratch or from your architect’s specifications. You can either email us with pictures of what you want and we will arrange a time to come and discuss your project with you, or you can send us a specification, and we can provide you with an estimate cost.

Repairs & Restorations
Repairs are usually undertaken with your chosen builder. We do not undertake repairs on site or come out to small repairs or restorations. We are often able to help if you, or your builder, can bring the item to be repaired to the workshop. This is decided on a case-by-case basis.

installations
We can either produce individual items, or undertake the whole process of installation. Most of our work is with either local homeowners, or builders & architects. The F&E Joinery guarantee is offered on items where we have undertaken the whole process, from production through to installation.
For your peace of mind, we are a FENSA registered installer and will be able to register your items with them.
